At North American Trade Schools, we offer short-term general interest workshops designed for individuals looking to learn the basics of welding for personal or professional purposes or for those currently working in welding who may be looking to upgrade their current skills in the weld manufacturing field. A minimum of 1 year of welding experience is required.

 

North American Trade Schools is an accredited CWB test centre. These workshops are ideal for graduates of Welding Certificate programs as well as current welders who need to obtain or renew CWB certification.

GMAW (MIG) & SMAW (Stick) Aluminum Welding - 12 hrs

Participants will understand the fundamentals of GMAW (MIG) and SMAW (Stick) Aluminum welding processes and practice both fillet and groove MIG welding.

The course provides the knowledge and TIG welding techniques of joining thin sections of aluminum, mild & stainless-steel plates.
